There are numerous
ceremonies in which the members of the Department participate throughout the
year. They range in size from marker dedication services for a single
soldier's grave site to re-dedication services for restored monuments to the
Civil War Soldier. On a yearly basis we participate in several Memorial Day and Veteran's Day ceremonies around the state. Most of these ceremonies are held in conjunction with the other Allied Orders of the GAR, or with VFW and American Legion Posts, but we are happy to participate with any interested group of patriotic citizens in presenting these ceremonies honoring our veterans.
